Mandatory Requirements

  • Background in design &/or drafting
  • Experience in project administration and/ or experience with construction
  • Word and Excel- intermediate to advanced level
  • Good writing and formatting skills
  • Experience or willingness to learn new software (Smartsheet, Gmail, Xero)
  • Good communication skills and professional attitude
  • Driver’s license and vehicle

Work Scope

  • Host stakeholder meetings
  • Safety and quality inspections
  • Delivery of training modules
  • Attend occasional tradeshows, networking and functions (occasional after hours and weekend work)
  • Bookkeeping and expense tracking
  • IT management skills (creating email addresses, updating websites)
  • CAD (Sketchup, Revit, Autocad)
  • Graphic Design (Photoshop or similar)

The Role

  • Immediate start
  • Initially 25-30 hours per week
  • Working from Swanbourne or Subiaco
  • Review opportunities and obtain project documents
  • Reading drawings and specifications
  • Quotes/ Tender writing
  • Source suppliers and prepare RFQ packages to obtain quotes from suppliers/ sub-contractors
  • Prepare cost estimates
  • Preparing ‘scope of work’ documents, reports, contracts and purchase order, and other project documents.
  • Attend site visits
  • Document control and management
  • Preparing and reviewing safety documents
  • Processing project expenses and invoicing
  • Budget and schedule tracking
  • Ability to follow standard company procedures (working with an ISO based quality, safety and environmental management system)
