Due to further expansion, we seek on our client’s behalf additional experienced Blaster/Painters with Industrial/Marine Coatings experience

The Client: We proudly represent this innovative Australian owned Marine & Naval Defence Engineering firm; with a proud history of dedicated services to LNG, Marine & RAN (Royal Australian Navy) & mining sectors in WA & NT we currently seek experienced blasters/painters &/or leading hands with minimum NACE 1 certification.

Essential requirements:
  • Experienced Industrial Painters/Blasters (Marine/Mining/LNG)
  • Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry (Essential)
  • White Construction card (Essential)
  • Sound computer skills for reporting and recording documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Excel (Essential)
  • Solid background as a Painter/Blaster.(Essential)
  • Experience in a similar position conducting QA/QC duties
  • Sound knowledge of different QC checks / tests
  • Excellent verbal and analytical skills
  • Sound knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements
  • Key team player who’s happy to get in & help all team members.
  • Formal coating qualification - NACE Level 1 (Essential)
  • Nace Level 2 (Desirable) not a must
  • MSIC (preferred not a must)
  • Must be able to pass medicals & DAS
